SHIMLA:
The British empire may have ceased to exist, but its echoes linger on in Shimla (2130m). As the `summer capital' of the British in India, this was the country's focus for the better part of every year and now, it is the state capital of Himachal Predesh. Today, its well developed facilities, easy accessibility and numerous attractions make it one of India's most popular hill resorts.

The Ridge, Lakkar Bazaar, Jakhoo Hill, St. Michael's Cathedral, State Museum, Mashobra (12 km), Kufri (16 km), Naldehra (22 km), Chail (45 km).
KULLU:
Kullu (1200m) was once known as Kulanthpitha - the end of the habitable world'. Beyond rose the forbidding heights of the shining river Beas, lay the fabled `Silver Valley'. Kullu got its first motor able access only after Independence. The long centuries of seclusion have however allowed the areas to retain a considerable measure of its traditional charm. Here is the core of an intricate web of numerous valleys - each of which is a visual delight and seems more beautiful than the other.

MANALI:
At (2050 m), this is a major hill station resort of the country set on the foot of the mighty Rohtang Pass. There are lovely walks and interesting spots near by. Manali is a base for Skiing, Paragliding and River - Rafting and Treks.
